I will only adress the rear calipers, as I know these best.
C2 rear: two piston type, 44mm, very light-weight, great brake action. I love them. 944T rear: 4-(small) pistons (28/30mm?), smaller pistons than 993 N/A rear (30/34mm). Difference in brake force should be better for the 4-piston caliper, but I suspect it doesn't make much difference. I have used both, but on different cars...
