Hi,
it really can happen. Know it from Porsche 915-gearboxes, where it happens sometimes. What type of gearbox do you have? If it was a Porsche-gearbox the problem is easy to solve. Martin |

I was told once that you do not want to dry-shift a transaxle.
Especially a new one... Get the motor running and the clutch adjusted and see how it shifts. An old-timer once told me that you can do damage yanking on the lever of a new transaxle withot everything spinning.... |
