In the past I did use the biral babies but I wasnt impressed with them, they diddnt stay round. Nickies would be nice, but I decided to try the cast nikasil coated barrels. A 2332cc turbo doesnt need to go too high on the boost to be a monster 5-10 pounds will launch a ghia very quickly
Aluminum case, heads, pushrods, pistons my valves should stay relativley in close adjustment from hot to cold.
I welded in new rear sheetmetal on CLKWRK, this spring it gets some paint, an engine and put back on the road.

Yes the chinese ones, I have already learned a lesson, dont get the long ones cutting nikasil is very difficult

If you know how to cut them, its really no big deal for an experienced machine shop. The guys shortening my nikasils do a lot of porsche work and machine nikasil on a regular basis almost
I think its cool you got the long ones; You have a better rod-ratio than most I bet
