Whats the rates for the rear suspension units?

Right now have 400 lbs in front 600 lbs rear but I need to ride my car to know if this are the correct rates. ( remember the principal purpose of the car is road race no street).

I want to install a bar with adjustable arms like this:

The springrates will of course be determined by the wheel rate, weight and the desired frequency. The prinicple being to keep the springing soft and the damping firm (Chapman principle).

I had a look at the Nascar units but I would have thought that with a development car that the blade type anti-roll bar would give a greater range of adjustment. The Nascar units might be far to stiff for a lightweight bug especially as they are very heavy and circulate on banked ovals at 200+mph. The roll force must be particularly high.

Hey Hugo,

I first saw your car on the rorty site.
I wish I had the time and money to build a mid-engine monster like yours but i suppose that my 1600ACVW motor will have to do for now
Keep up the good work man and all of the best and good luck for the rest of the build.
Cheers

I start to work on my car again:

Cut the car to have easy access to the engine bay (like vw fun cup's cars).

Suicide doors:

New wheels 18 x 8.5 - 225/40/18 front 18 x 11 295/30/18 rear:

And wating for a shoop delivery my engine components fully balance. Pictures soon.
