I've received my pump from Thorsten and the quality is outstanding The CB performance 4 gear pump is tiny compared to the new pump Shipping from Germany took 1 week. Sandeep |

Does the TP pump fit under the BAS Ahnendorp or CSP python exhausts w/o any modifications? Looking at Wally's engine pics, I guess it does fit under the Ahnendorp...

I like the design of the german pump, looks pretty stout. I'm guessing you have to use a 5" power pulley with this pump? It doesn't look like a larger pulley would clear the pump even with a spacer.

again but next week, comes the new series I will be in Hannover at Mel´s...... You only have to mill the lifter bores down....7mm are enough!! Then heat up the motorcase to 80°C and press the bushings into the case. Ready!!!! Greetings Thorsten |

I used to have a "stock" type 4 Ahnendorp 145mm (5,7"?) pulley with the normal porsche cooling systems, which fits no problems. Actually..I have now the 157mm (6,2") pulley with the Riechert set-up with a toothed ring on the back side and that one didn't clear, but I have cut out Thorstens nice pump for the pulley and toothed wheel.. and now it fits the turbo engine as well I don't dare show pictures of it though... |
