Update Short SA / brembos
Yes Lanner they are indeed 16 x 7 fuchs. Tight fit, but important thing is they fit!
![]() Ok heres the update If you have a short axle bug and are wanting to go brembos Here is what I used a what worked for me. 64 Bug (short axle) 924S(Turbo) rear steel baking plates early (83ish)944 rear hubs(because they have longer studs than the 924's 964 C2 2pot rear brembos 996 rear discs (299 x 24 x75mm) Lanners 3mm hardened spacers. BUT I NEEDED 4mm OFFSET NOT 3MM TO GET THE CALIPERS LINED UP. I used 304SS 1mm shims from the local hardware store for now. When changing the brakes over found out one bearing was shot.LOL ![]() Found some new ones on ebay. Thought I'd try some new to help prevent leaking seals. SNF/ SKF 6303S bearing (single sealed) We"ll see if it works. Sealed on one side open on the other. SO it is still lubed by trans oil, but not open on the other...
