I was going to use the stock DBW setup on my 1.8t, but in the end I went standalone ECU and cable. With the availability of reconfigureable software available for flashing stock ECUs now, I think I'd go stock if I had to do it again.
Still, there's nothing like knowing your foot is connected directly to the go-fast button! Jason
