I have the same dipstick and tube. Its an aftermarket small block chevy one. The tube needs curving around, and then the case drilling to accept the larger diameter tube compared to the stock one.

Cheers

OK, its not recent work, but I forgot to include this bit. I made a sump extension ("Tuna can") for better oil pick up in the twisties. They sell something like this, but more fun for me to make it! I know the bolt head is BIG, but I will remember not to over torque it.

Very nice What hp estimate, 250hp? I will build similar type big N/A engine at the future, it T1 based 2789cc engine with JPM MS230 heads, already coming flanged 86 crank , strong TF-1 throughbolt case and 101,6mm nickies

Its funny today, if you say to some people that you have +2,7 litre +220hp engine, they sometimes start to think immediately that you must have powerful porsche engine...No, its "just" based to a VW engine...they wont always believe it

Should be close to 250hp...more interested in torque though...that should be 250 Have not had time to do much with it lately though. Trying to get some time soon.
