I ws also interested in this conversion a while ago, but I couldn't convince myself it would look right on a super beetle.
Anyway, this is a picture I saved from the web: Looking at it, I still can't make up my mind. It looks nice, interesting and different, but just not right

All a matter of taste, I suppose. I have not yet seen a Super with pre-'67 standard headlights that I like but I do like that wrinkle in the equation.
