Can that case still be good after being subject to the past abuse?
Spread center main? Pounded out/line bore needed? Dying to see how the case looks. That last crank was a stock 1.7, right? Just balanced, no counterweights, IIRC. If you can just use the case as it sits, it would speak very highly of the setup....
