Are you _sure_ there's enough room for the throw-out when fully compressed?
A hard measurement to get..

Wally performed a similar operation with his G50.
Dig through his build thread.
Using a Passat throw-out IIRC..

There's also a thread on the transaxle forum about this, too.
None used the Tilton AFAIK, however.

I chickened out on my 923 trans.
