This how I did it but I moved my trans forward 100 mm. User jakriz may have some posts that would help you, he flipped his trans mount and fitted a quad cam motor in. Steve

I have the 915 box as far forward as possible using the Bug@5speed nosecone, as frame cutting is frowned upon here. So you also had to cut the inner fender tips off - I see no way around that, and like you, I will have to dream up some way to put it back together with a removable section once the lump is installed Looks like you cut the rear firewall completely out. Are you mounting the intercooler in the stock Suby location on the engine front? I was thinking of a box for turbo clearance, and a remote mounted intercooler over the gearbox, next to my air-con condenser Last edited by Hoghead; October 12th 2020 at 05:46. |

Hi
I did cut the firewall out and then boxed it in. I'm using a G50 trans. You could mount the inter cooler inside the car and you would only need to cut a hole for the pipe work to run through. I did this on my WBX powered 1302, photo attached
