Smile bigger brakes on the rear of a 73 bay

I can sort out the fronts with no problems but the rear is proving to be different.

I have not taken anything to bits yet, bus wise, but I don't think that anything will be a stright swap.

The only way I can see around the problem is to weld onto the chassis some beetle suspension mounts and then use the rear suspension from a 944, early with the steel trailing arms with the internal re inforcments ( to take the extra weight)

Has anybody actually done anything to the rear end of a bay??

Cheers

John
