Porsche 911 cooling

I recently saw where some information was given about 911 cooling kit in the tech section. They also gave a name for a supplier he's said to make one of the best kits. Where does he live and does he have a e-mail or website.

You are talking about the Klaus kit.

I believe Alex said Klaus is not selling that kit out of Germany because he has patents on it in Germany & is afraid of people duplicating it out of his country.

About 370$ for the shroud and approx. another 300$ for the ring and strap. You need to get an 11 blade fan and get it turned down to 225mm and a Porsche alternator.

This are just estimates and depend on exchange rates as well.

But wouldn't they sell the 11 blade fan already turned down to 225mm.

Yes. But you could save some money.
The complete kit will cost you about 1000$....or a bit more...depending on the alternator.

Alex/Badbug,
I also understood that the case requires machine work that will comply with his kit and Klaus can probably do that best (or as the only one). I don't know (but image not) if he would have a problem if you would send him your case and order the whole set and send it to the US. Does cost quite a bit tho...
