911 outer springplate cover/for 944 suspension swap

Can anyone tell me a place that has a reasonable price on the torsion
caps from a 911 to use with the 944 suspension swap.
Part # is 901 333 153 00

911 spring plate covers

Pelican is the only one that lists them, about $62 each
Thanks Jim

Go to the clasified section of the forums on pelicans site. There are usually a few cars being parted out, or you can place a WTB ad there.

I didn't know 911 covers were needed for the 944 swap, is this because you are using 944 bushings and not bug?

yea. that is an option if you don't want to remove the bonded bushing on the 944 spring plate. another option is just burn that thing off and use the bug bushing and torsion cover.

call vertex auto. they may not list it, but i bet they have them. i got a great price on my 951 rotors there. john's suggestion of stalking the forums or posting a WTB is the cheapest if you have the time.

You can also use 944 ones as long as you cut off the body mounts. Thats what I did for my car. Worked out just fine, and cheap to.

Try PartsHeaven if you don't mind used parts. I got mine for $10/ea from them.
