feeler: What are these worth?
All 4 of these came off of a 914 porsche with tires. They will fit the 71 four lug beetle. What are they worth? I have chrome in mind......

Those wheels are pretty common and can usually be found selling for $100-$125 each on ebay and at swap meets. If they have a lot of curb rash or scrathes and need to be refinished then the price falls significantly. If you're thinking of having them plated, then you need to have any nicks in the aluminum filled and smoothed. Chrome plating will make any imperfections in the wheel stand out like a sore thumb.

If "in da hood Md" means Maryland somewhat near Baltimore and/or Frederick, my brother-in-law may be interested. (Hard to tell what the wheels look like from the 914 picture.)
