Question sharpbuilt porsche fan shrouds?

is anyone using a sharpbuilt fanshroud for a type1 motor with the built in oil cooler kit?

Would like views on quality & fit + views on the cooler

thanks

I use the Sharpe TI kit quite a bit, but never the one that locates the cooler in the shroud, if I build an engine large enough to use a 911, it also needs an external cooler.

The conversions I know from Germany wouldn't work with a oil cooler, as the cooler lays too hard in the way of the routed air. All the advantages would go only through that small cooler, as the air cannot be routed through a small cooler and to all cylinders equally (with hard dyno and road work maybe, but without any sense, as such a cooler is not worth building it onto a Porsche fan cooled engine) . Btw, the cooler is definitely too small for any aspiration over 70-80HP or for high-mph use! Full flow is the way to go and a good, flat bypass on the cooler bores, then it's ok!
