Thanks for posting that on the Vortex Pete.
I think we could easily see 40 cars this year. Peter even has plans to bring out Beetle Juice. It's going to be BIG baby!!!:agree:

Greg,

I have finally converted Andrew to the aircooled (it took 15 yrs). We picked up the '61 rag on Sunday. Cruised it out to Californias last night. So that's +1.:agree:

Pete, does that mean you didn't go to Michigan? Aren't you working nights?

Should be some nice looking aircooleds at this cruise this year.

Alex, wash your car for crying out loud!!!!

Would be cool to turn this into a "poker rally" of some sort in the coming years

One of the other boards in Europe has a run where you buy an item from the gas station at the start of the run ( to get the time of item purchase on the receipt - your start time) and then buy an item at another station at the end of the run ( to get your finish time from the time of item purchase on the receipt) ... subtract one from the other and you have your time for the run.

Speeding tickets not included !

Sandeep

Greg, Michigan was a bust. Too many people cancelled at the last minute.

Wash it x2!!

Sandeep, poker run sounds great. I will need to install the 5spd to be competitive. Cruising at 70mph won't cut it.

This won't past me.

Still working hard on the ride, finally found my problem, an intermittent problem with my Mallory ignition box. Intermittent power to the coil. Thanks to Clyde we were persistent and found it.Will try to resolve this on the weekend. Count me in regardless I'll even drive the TDI, gotta make it boys.

I'll wash it for you punks, but remember it's what's on the inside that counts! (my mom always told me that anyways.....)

She'll be spotless for the cruise, except for the rubber on the inner fenders...
