Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm guessing that the 951 part number ones are from the 944?
Those that are typically black-centered, anodized rim?
Are you sure they come in 6" wide?
All I can find...

Was wanting to fit Early Cup-style 16x8 and 16x7 wheels on my type 3..
The 8s are just too wide..
Love those 16x7 and 16x6 Fuchs from the 911SC and such..
Will those wheels clear my 944T...

Lovely as always..
I can see how you would want to sell;
Once the car is 'done', what's to do? :p
What was the spec on the motor?
Was curious how it ended up..
15 flat is pretty fast!...

Assembling Shifter Onto Shift Rod
Hi,
Years later, my Fastback project is finally coming together.
Having a conundrum with assembly.
How do you get the ball at the bottom of the shifter into the socket at the end of the shift...

If you are going for a GT car, to drive on the street, Maybe a type 3 or type 4?
Unlike a race-inspired car, which suits the small/light beetle form factor so well,

Had to re-read the entire thread again.
That's like the fifth time now...
Every time something else grabs my attention.
-Like the fuel lines.
Looks like you...

Just Beautiful...
A style of build user 'vujade' coined - "Resto German".
Subtle, understated, OG in the details...
Love it!
The ride height/stance is perfect.
Rake is for Cal-Lookers.

Oh, I love how this turned out...
The fender widening is so subtle I didn't even notice it at first!
IMHO,
You want as much camber in front as you can get.
Unless you have over-steer issues,...

Car looks great.
Thanks for sharing the tip on the paint shop.
Three cars can get a guy spread too thin,
(I can speak for that)
But you seem to be able to give them all the love they deserve....

So, You wanna buy some Brembos, Eh?
Since Lanner just posted up and helped me so quick just now,

Which way, again?
Putting my 944T 4-pot Brembos back together,
And I can't remember how they went...
:o
Does the bigger piston lead and the smaller piston trail,
Or the other way around?
Many Thanks

There's a vision many have had but none have achieved... Just beautiful...
I'm sure that you can set me straight,
but, because the Boxter is mid-engine,
Isn't there some room behind the current...
