Hey, Crazy Cooter,

I think that you are missing a big point (if im wrong correct me).
The point isn't the maximum rpm the engine could make but where (rpm thinking) it will make the most ponnies.Right?

From my experience I had a 1300 AB engine in my 1303 and there was no point revving it above 4600rpm, lets say 4800 rpm maximum,cos the engine was stalling beyond this point since it was stock and almost 100% healthy (pre heat pipes rusted and faulty auto-choke). By that kind of hi revving it blew twice both the head cover's gaskets...not funny at all...
