Now I'm out there removing the seam sealer and I'm going to then seam weld everything before I have the cage in my way.

Are you going to weld or bolt it to the tunnel? Will the body still be able to be removed from the frame without cutting the cage?

Now that's a slick idea, using tape to get a rough idea of the location of the cage. Looks good. My only suggestion is to use some kind of tubing notcher. Fit-up can be just as important as the welds.

That tape looks pretty strong all by itself I'd say. If you just use duct tape, with all that triangulation I think it will work great! JK, you're off to a great start, keep us posted.
