those spring plates from rally design make it so easy, and they cheap too!. chris, what spring rate are you running on the front now? i tried 80 as i thought that was standard for beetle, but now on 100. mines a street car.

They are 10.5" by 130lbs, they felt pretty spot on, and not too stiff..

cheers i'll try some out. i use 12inch springs. i used mk 1 golf struts as a base, they are 2 inch shorter to start with and have camber adjustment bolt holes.

Yay! Go the Rally Design Strut conversion crew! That makes 3 of us. My struts were originally 944 struts, since I had them around, the Gaz inserts I bought were the same, and they have the camber adjustment at the bottom. I *think* I've got 150lb springs on there, and a pair of 200lb springs that I had recommended to me discarded in the garage.
