...or simply order one of my 30 mm shorter nose cones. Have them for both types of gearbox (901 ols al. cast, or 911/01, 901/13 (all magnesium-cases) and 914. They are casted fot the conversion of Porsche 5 speed into Volkswagen. You can not weld the mg-nose cones. If you want to shorten it, then you´ll have a problem.
