You will have to convert the chassis to IRS first, this is done by buying all the trailing arms etc from an IRS bug (or 944) and then welding in the inner pivot brackets. You will probably also have to clearance the framehorns for the output flanges of the trans.
Unless you are happy with fabrication, it will be a big job. You may find it all a lot easier using bug@5speed conversion parts... Rich
